Revelation of the cross
Ephesians 4:11-12 (KJV) 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
.Deut 28:1-2 (KJV) 1 And it shall come to pass, IF THOU shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth
12 For as the body is one (Christ is one and has only one body i.e. the church), and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body (many different members made up the one body): so also is Christ (referring to Christ’s body).
1 Samuel 15:23 (KJV) For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee…

There are different types of “knowing.” We can “know” something because of a “feeling” we experience i.e. a sixth sense, an emotional “knowing” based upon a state of consciousness, and there is also a “knowing” because of our mental capacities of thought and reason.
When is the church going to stop chasing signs and wonders? We can move in the prophetic as the Lord gives unction’s of the word of knowledge or wisdom, but I personally put no confidence in the prophetic.
One of the major problems facing the church today is that we have taken upon ourselves a personal interpretation of the Lord’s scripture. We have learned to use personal knowledge or experiences to reshape scripture to fit our own personal needs and this is wrong and misleading.
God did not give us a super empowered will, and no matter how long I stand in the mirror and tell myself that I am a champion it will not make me a champion. The only reason why we are blessed today is because God is blessing Christ which is within us.
The words that Jesus spoke are spiritual words that can only be understood spiritually. How is it that we can understand Jesus’ teaching had a far deeper meaning when he is talking about tares and wheat, and miss it when it comes to money?
By following the commandments, one can experience holiness and sanctification. Many will be content to stop here and then start the obedience of the law to become a holy people. This is however, is not the way of God but the way of men.
Galatians 5:17 (KJV) “For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.”
We have changed our settings, changed who we associate with, changed our pastors, changed our religions, changed the “outside of the cup,” but the one thing we want to change never does – us.
